Solved! No sound card on dell d610

ihave a dell latitude d610 it says i have no sould card what do i do can i install the driver or what

If you can see an unknown device in device manager then chances are that this is your soundcard and then yes hopefully all you will need to do is install the correct drivers. If device manager fails to see anything and installing the correct drivers doesnt solve the problem you may have a hardware fault.....
