Solved! No sound from rear speakers

Hello guys,

I have the Sony dz840k Home theatre, and I am trying to get the surround sound to work while watching TV.
The dz840 is connected to the TV through the white and red cables,
When I watch TV the sound comes out of the front speakers and the Base only.
I tried to run tests on the rear speakers, and they are working fine in the test mode.

Audio is set on Hi-Fi and source is set to TV.

What is the make and model of your TV? The only way you're going to get proper surround sound from your HTS is if you connect your audio equipment with your TV using an optical/coaxial in TOSLINK cable. The red and white RCA connections only provide right and left audio respectively.
