Solved! No sound from television

If the TV and HTS have HDMI-ARC then that connection will work for you. Check the TV and HTS manual on how to turn it on and set both up..
If the TV has digital audio output (coax or optical) and the HTS has the same input then it will work for you. As above.
The above two outputs are digital and will sound better than the one below. If you don't have matching output and input an active converter would be needed.
If the TV has a headphone or analog audio output this would connect the the analog aux input of the HTS. This is the lowest quality connection.
