NO sound from TV but sound on Laptop

I connected by Toshiba 6355D-S5300 laptop to my NOT smart TV. Selected a Netflix movie. The picture is great but I am not getting any sound from the TV; albeit, I do get sound from the Laptop. Any suggestions?

Sounds like your connection may not be including sound. Especially if it is an older TV.

Thank you. You could be correct. it is a Sonya FW43D25F. 2016. I will review the manual again.
