No sound on lg tv from pc

I have a lead that is hdmi on one end and rgb on other and do not have any sound from tv when watching things from pc to tv I can hear sound slightly on pc and get picture through tv but no sound

HDMI on PC, rgb on TV - correct?

Right click the speaker icon on your PC monitor screen. Select playback devices.

Select your HDMI Output port, right click and select Properties.

Check the settings and see if you need to make a change. Work with Configuration and test.

rgb doesn't carry any audio signals, video only regardless of what "adapter/cable conversion" you use. Depending on the adapter that you are using, there should be some form of audio output jacks from the adapter that you need to connect to your tv for audio.
