This is my first post here - I have a Dell laptop with no VGA port. Is there a VGA adapter I can use to plug my laptop to my TV?

From what I could find, there appears to be an HDMI port as the only video output. Can you use that to connect to your TV?

Or the ever popular HDMI to VGA adapter, just saw one on Amazon for $8.00 just in case you ever want to use a monitor.
