Question No volume and audio grayed out

I have a sharp aquous TV and we play DVD's on it (no TV service). Sound bar attached, so no sound fromTV. Just started streaming TV and don't have audio. When I got to set up, the audio section is grayed out. I put a DVD in and volume is fine. Volume for TV is not muted and is turned up. How do I trouble shoot this? Thanks.

You don't mention what you are using to stream with and how it's connected to the TV.
Check the audio settings in the streamer and apps. You might need to change it to work with the soundbar.

Thanks for the reply. I just had high speed broadband run to my house. Before this, only watched DVDs thru a DVD player on the TV and the sound was through the soundbar (even though volume up on TV)..We didn't change any connections at all with addition of modem, which has coax cable and an ethernet cable from modem to back of TV. We still do not have TV service. Was trying to stream through VUDU. When I go to audio set up, all options grayed out. Not sure if this additional info helps but thanks!
