No WiFi option

My company purchased new laptops and gave us the "old" ones. I've had mine "refurbished/upgraded" with Windows 8.0; however, it gives the option to connect to the internet via broadband, dial-up or VPN, but not WiFi. How can I fix this?

We would need your laptops full make and model# to know if it had a wireless card in it from the factory. If it didnt then simply purchase a usb wifi adapter. If it did then your 'upgrader' missed installing the drivers for it.
