Solved! Nokia 7 Plus continuous notification sound

Hello.

I have a Nokia 7 Plus and have an issue with my notification tone continuously playing until I check the message. Whether I receive an email, Facebook notification, WhatsApp message or an ordinary text message, the phone plays my notification sound at regular intervals until I either open the message or clear the notifications. It seems to occur every 2 minutes.

This becomes very annoying at night when I am trying to sleep!

I have checked every setting, checked various other forums and I have even restored factory settings, but it is still doing it. I also tried using a different launcher, but it does the same thing despite the launcher I choose to use.

I will appreciate any help in this regard.

just a try, but looks like your phone is faulty. Be sure you checked the app notification settings in android and in the specific apps
