[citation][nom]slickyfats[/nom]Maybe I am missing the point here, but why would you want a dual SIM phone? Is there a benefit to it or is it just to say you have it?[/citation]

If you're travelling to other countries this is really useful.

imagine that you plan a trip to France then you go to Spain or England, you just buy a cheap prepaid SIM Card in thos countries, then you can circumvent the international roaming charges by your cell phone carrier. Really useful when you stay for long time. OF Course my example here applies to cell phones which are tri or quad bands. I hope these Nokia are quad-bands

In the Philippines, I saw a lot of "Nokia" with dual sim like the c2-00, but no 3G, If you look like it it looks like the real thing with polished aluminum case.

Dual sims would be good for prepaid plans. Tmobile has separate prepaid plans with cheap minutes and cheap data, it'd be nice to be able to use both.

If i am not wrong, Nokia E50, 2006, existed in a two SIM version.
