Wrong concept, the P4-M mPGA CPU fits a Desktop board. So that's what you get, the P4-Mobile mPGA, which IS Socket 478.

I just checked pricewatch as well, an adequate number of companies are selling the P4 Mobile Socket 478. It's the same CPU Anandtech did to do their early 200MHz bus testing of the SiS 655TX chipset before they got their hands on a P4C

Wusy, I've been talking about them for about a year, Anandtech did a chipset article where they needed to use a P4-M to test the 200MHz bus capability of a P4 chipset, because it was weeks before the P4C was released. You just have a selective reading problem, it's actually common knowledge.
