[citation][nom]slickyfats[/nom]I was wondering the same thing, they are practically one city.I live just north of DFW it a town of 600 people. We didn't make the least risky list. lol[/citation]

I've worked in Tech Support and you have no idea how far above your average citizen you are! If the FCC goes through with their plan for computer literacy I can see the list changing a bit.

This has got to be the stupidest poll I ever seen. I just saw the "Top 20 Most Wired Cities" a week ago and this list is taken directly from that. Well...no shit the more wired the city is the more prone it will be to cyber threats because its incorporated the Internet more broadly. Seriously I clicked this hoping I wasn't going to see the same cities almost in ORDER as the Top 20 Wired Cities list not even a week ago.

I'm not trying to inject politics into this (and get banned) but it is interesting that the most risky cities are more liberal and the least risky are more conservative. Maybe I've just had politics on the brain too much lately.

yeah I never quite understood why people don't grasp onto the concept on what will give you viruses and spyware. Perhaps they should just make this a class subject in middle school?

[citation][nom]zambutu[/nom]how come i only see American cities?[/citation]

It's linking directly from .co.uk to THG US.

Wouldn't mind knowing similar stats for Europe.

I know why Detroit is not on the list... two reason in fact.
1) all the money has left the city, nothing to steal
2) anyone still living there is praying for someone steals their identity so they can blame their poor credit on someone else! :)

[citation][nom]Socrates047[/nom]why is colomus on both list, two different places[/citation]
I was gonna ask the same thing, maybe the city is cut in half, step one street over and it becomes less risky!
