not able to start dell xps

Hello, I have Dell Xps1530, i purchased it 2 years ago.when i tried to start my system this morning, by pressing the power button, i hear fan running but i dont see any thing on screen, i could not go into bios ....can any one help me..with this

Detach the battery and try just the AC adapter.
Can you feel or hear the hard drive spin up?
Do you have a bootable CD to test?

This problem happens quite often, i reccomend that you just send the lappy back to Dell and take it from there.
