Not accepted sim card meaning

Hi,
what does "use non accepted sim card mean"?
I recently got my iphone unlocked. But i dont have a sim card to use it. The guy who unlocked this says to use non accepted sim card, what does it mean? how do i do it?

Probably asking you to use a SIM card from a network different than that which the phone was locked to. To verify that the unlock works.

Why'd you unlock your phone if you don't intend on putting in a SIM card?

Goutham10 made this thread over two months ago and it's safe to say that he's not returning and has long since abandoned this thread. Possably has it figured out by now.
