Hello,
Only certain keys on my acer work - this has happended before and I can't remember how to resolve it, but it did come right last time. Or is this an intermitent problem..

I did not know that this had been previously answered - what was the answer or hasn't it been answered/resolved!

many times those keys just need to be popped off and cleaned

otherwise a new keyboard, they usually are not expensive and pretty easy to replace

youtube has a ton of tutorials on replacing or cleaning acer keyboards. i couldnt believe how many there were.

have your acer model info handy and check there. and there are many suppliers of acer keyboards, dont think that you have to get it from acer. ebay is one place to start.

try laptopkey first(the top one). they sell just indivdual keys , and you might just need those and a good spring cleaning. they have an instructional video also.
