Nvidia 296.10 driver update FAIL

So frustrated,

I'm not sure what happening here, but my Video card for my M11x has disappeared, apparently. the new update sent me into a blue crashing screen of poo, and not i cannot switch to my GFX, not is it recognized at all in my device manager, This is frustrating to say the least. Now I have perpetual great battery life, but 0 gaming performance. Any thought on house to fix this conundrum short of a reinstall?

Boot into safe mode, uninstall the drivers, reboot the computer, reinstall the drivers.
