What Nvidia graphic model do you think is best for playing recent games on a laptop guys ? thanks.

Solution
The 840m is definitely more powerful than the 920m. But the 840m is still a weak dedicated GPU, too weak to make use of the 4GB DDR3 RAM when it comes to games because you will likely be playing games at 1366x768 or 1600x900 resolution with medium graphic settings. The GPU will be using less than 2GB of that video RAM, much less.

4GB of video RAM is only useful for powerful GPUs which allows you to play at 1080p and ultra quality graphics and only if it is the much faster DDR5 video RAM.

Interesting... so what about an Nvidia 920M 2GB + Intel Core i7-5500U + 8GB of RAM ? is it a good combination to enjoy smooth gaming especially for the latest games ?
