NVIDIA driver wont install!

I've tried a lot of things, but every time i install my nvidia driver it seems to say "failed" and "not installed". I've tried using the file from the CNVIDIA folder, using display driver uninstaller and a few other things but to no avail.. (Problem arose when i tried to install nvidia driver with vulcan support and now i dont have a functioning nvidia driver)
I should also probably mention, that the only display drivers i have in my device manager are :
Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600
Standart VGA Graphics Adapter

if youre using winsdows 10 and have updated to creator ... fubar. creator and gforce drivers dont mix, and much finger pointing is going on, with little effort into fixing it (eg its really microsofts fault and they dont want to be liable).

- Intel - Core i5-4690K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
- Crucial - Ballistix Elite 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
- Windows 7 operating system
- ASRock - Z97 PRO4 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
- Samsung - 840 EVO 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
- Seagate - Barracuda 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
- Corsair - CSM 550W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply

Unfortunatly, i do not have win10. And its weird, cause the nvidia driver was working before that install i did.

you are using http/www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/78216/en-us installer?
and have you removed the vulcan install with a rollback?

maybe you have/had a 64bit vulcan installer in a 32bit win 7?

I tried using that installer (Although a diffrent version (388.43)) and i also tried the geforce experience. Neither of them went past the "failed" part.

This has been very peculiar, but that older version of nvidia driver actually worked! I have no idea why or maybe i did something diffrent, but it works now. Thanks a lot!

remeber and save this installer, so if future updates make your system unstable, you have a point to start from again.
