Hey. I have been having this problem for awhile and I have not been able to identify it so i was hoping the people of Tom's Hardware could help. So here are the specs for my computer:
(Sager NP8651 15" Gaming Laptop)
- Intel I7-4710HQ
- 16GB DDR3
- 120GB SSD and 1TB HD
- GTX 970M 3GB
- 1920x1080 Display (built in)
The problem that I am having is that when I play certain video games on my laptop I get only what I can call as a "lazy" pixel effect. What this means is that you can see some of the pixels from the previous frame still on the screen for a split second. This doesn't happen all of the time and not with all games as well. I also haven't noticed when sending my video output through an external monitor like my TV. I was hoping, if anything, if anyone knows what this is called so that I could have a name for it and also if anyone knows how to fix it then that would be awesome. Thank you so much!!!
