[citation][nom]GeneralTon[/nom]Blank checks? Spending BILLIONS trying to find invisible weapons of 'mass destruction' is the biggest fleecing of America that there has ever been. Handing banks 800 billion dollars to give their CEOs 50 million dollar bonuses for failure is writing a blank check. Health care and social security is not a blank check. Your tea bags are in your mouth. As for the comments about Marxism, clearly none of you have ever read his work. As for political vs. theoretical communism, America resembles none of that neither do any of our politicians. Clearly you haven't studied theoretical communism either if it's supposedly based on "duping" idealogical communists. I sincerely thought the readers of this forum were smarter than this, but I guess I was "duped" as well. [/citation]
i totally agree with not bailing out any of those banks, GM, Chrysler and GE. we didn't bail out other manufacturers and financial institutions who went belly up back in the 30's either other wise duesnberg and others would still be around as well as over a thousand other banks.

biggest waste of money if you ask me as well as almost every social program instituted since FDR was elected.
he brought about the start of social communism with income tax and social security, which was later shored up with medicaid, medicare, fica, romneycare and now obamacare.
i totaly agree with iraq i tried to tell people to watch him find a way to wage war withsaddam for thumbing his nose at his daddy, before he even got to the run off with mccain. nobody believed me then either.
how ever the excuse and pretense of WMD's was not a lie, try going back to abc, nbc, cbs and pbs footage of the iran-iraq war i remember watching nightly news reports of reporters in iraq taking footage of the cia training iraqi artillery crews and those artillery crews dressed in gas masks and rubber suits later firing chemical shells at iranians.
In November 1980, Tehran Radio was broadcasting allegations of Iraqi chemical bombing at Susangerd. Three and a quarter years later, by which time the outside world was listening more seriously to such charges, the Iranian Foreign Minister told the Conference on Disarmament in Geneva that there had been at least 49 instances of Iraqi chemical-warfare attack in 40 border regions, and that the documented dead totalled 109 people, with hundreds more wounded. He made this statement on 16 February 1984

i think you confused whose mouth my tea bags are in with your own.
as much as i hated clinton and bush jr and reagan i am throwing obama right in there with them for alot of his major stupid ideas and have no problems throwing romney in there also under that same bus. the religious republicans are just as socialist as the liberal democrats, they just disagree on what and how to fleece & control the rest of the majority of americans and what the latest scam tax payer money should be used to line their pockets.
personally i don't give a horses road apple about iraq or afganistan. this these wars against 3rd world countries should have taken only 6 months a most, there is no excuse for this serious failure. i'd drop iraq like a hot potato and not give them another dime and send those troops and equipment to afganistan and tell every trooper 'weapons free' and to leave afganistan as nothing but rubble sparing only women and children and anybody else who doesn't point a weapon at an american and after they were done to go hunt down bin laden and crew where ever they were, no matter where they were with what ever means of force was necessary short of nukes. i'd just up and leave afganistan as that pile of rubble as a sign post to the other nations in this world what i'd let happen to them should they choose to aid or harbor the al-queda enemies that attacked us.
i'm all for being a cost effective spending hawk. the navy, marines and army don't need their own planes bombers and helicopters, space command, that's what the air force is for.
i'd drop the entire F-35 program in a heart beat. as there are much better economical near term solutions available for the economical long term solutions about to roll out.
right now as it stands i'd break off a lot of trade agreements also and or either roll back the dollar a decimal point in value to make america competetive and more level or i'd have to kill or heavily regulate trade with any country not economically as equal as america is.
i would not fight a war against communism by feeding them unless it gave means to a way for revolt in their country to get rid of the communists.
there's a battle going on with the republicans and democrats on how to economicaly and equality make america on the same playing field with the rest of the 3rd world that will only benefit the rich at the expense of most americans.
