Office 2003 grammer check not available

my office 2003 word does not show its grammar checking ability and the function of grammar check has been grayed out.

please tell me what shall i do?

Nikorr, the spelling & grammar tab has grayed and i cannot even click it.

Go to Office Button > Word options > Proofing > Custome dictionary > Make
sure CUSTOM.DIC is checked.

Quite agree with NIKORR. Some friend of mine entered same problem when he ran winxp and word 2003, i could not find the .DIC on his laptop either. i guess it is a ghost version of xp. You need to reload Office and install again.

Do get grammar check option selected when reinstallation.
