I love how office depot's statement is complete bs in that it in no way condones what's happening. This is how they OFFICIALLY TRAIN US to do things. This is what they aggressively push us to do or get reprimanded if we don't. They're full of crap, they're trying to say that they don't know that checking one of those boxes will automatically cause the "security" scan to fail and say there are signs of malware? Give me a break. I hope the people in charge of pushing this policy and the people who created the software get what's coming to them in the form of a huge lawsuit. It seems like the people who should get punished never do, it's always the lower level associates or customers who get shafted.
