Because different people like different things. What kind of car do you drive? Is everyone supposed to LIKE your car and its color? What about your computer? Dell or whatever... is everyone supposed to be just like? Are we all supposed to like the same music, etc?
I still use a SONY phone, I like how they work and that it doesn't look anything like an iPhone or Android.
And when I'm ready to move to a more advanced smart phone, it will most likely be an Android type. My friends G1 is very very nice.
