I have a Lenovo Ideapad Z585 here, and I have been told this PC is capable of running Borderlands 2 at 60. NOPE. Ran at 10. Hardly.

And my Gmod runs at 30 everywhere where people have said Gmod should (With my PC) run over 60.

Why? I have 600+ GB left on this PC and I only have Skype running. There is absolutely no reason for this drop in frames and FPS drops annoy me really badly.

Thanks for any help because I am strongly considering buying a £1250 PC and because I am just going into college, its not going to be easy to get.

And thats an apu in that laptop so it isn't very good for gaming but it should run borderlands at 60fps at low settings i would think.

The APU is underpowered (AMD A8-4500M 1.9GHz) and is likely what is holding back the overall performance of the Lenovo for gaming. Low settings are likely to be the only level that will provide acceptable frame rates in most games.

Yeah, I learned that the hard way.
