ok so my hp has a cracked screen and i cant se nothing

soi pugged in my hp to my tv vi hdmi ause the screen is cracked i wanted to reinstall windows and it asked me if i wanted to restart i clicked yes and nw i cnt gt it to comeon my tv again whats up?

Hi,

Your laptop will not display anything outside Windows since it will only show on the built in display. What you can do is to unplug the ribbon cable of the built in display and connect your external monitor and from them on it will function as the default display and you'll be able to see everything in your laptop even in BIOS.

what is the make & model of that hp laptop? take a look at your function keys at f4 to see if it has a monitor outline on it/
