I'm trying to hook up an old Bose system to the Hisense K360. When I plug the cable from the Bose into the TV (in the headphone) the sound cuts out and does not transfer to the Bose. The light/power is showing on. If anyone has any ideas/suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated!

When you plug into the TV headphone jack it should turn the TV speakers off. To make sure that it is working connect headphones to the TV.
If it works then check the cable you are using and that the Bose is on the input your connected that cable to from the TV. You may need to adjust the TV volume and Bose volume to get the levels right.
