Old Tablet Connectivity

I have a Samsung tablet that I haven't used since 2015-2016.

Model: GT-P7510
Android version: 4.0.4

I've gone through and factory reset the tablet, rebooted the router, and 'forget' the connection, trying to connect to WiFi. It keeps telling me, 'authentication error' and won't recognize an IP address.

I've been able to connect to various hotspots as well as other WiFi accounts from different friends/family- but it refuses to connect to my home wifi. (I have high speed internet, older router but newer modem.)

Any thoughts?

I'd like to believe I know my way around computer/connection tech, but this has me stumped.

Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Wow, I feel like an idiot. You're right! Minor capitalization error. Thank you!
