One earplug works after months of good service

Only One Of My Beats By Dr. Dre Isn't Working Now, After Months Of Both Working Fine. I Bought Them For Christmas 2014 And The Volume Isn't Always To The Highest. Is This My Fault Or Could I Take
Them Back For Another Pair.
