Hey.

I recently tried plugging my HDMI from my PC into my Onkyo TX-NR1009 amplifier so I could have surround sound whilst using my PC, however, I can't seem to get it to display an image on the screen. My amp is plugged into my monitor and I can select which HDMI I want to display (in my case I have my PC HDMI plugged into the PC port on the back).

When I boot my PC up, I get the BIOS and start-up process on my screen, however when my PC gets to the input password screen or desktop, I get no image at all.

Do you have any idea how I could solve this issue?

sounds like perhaps an unsupported resolution or refresh rate maybe. looks like you're losing picture after the graphics card drivers kick in.

what resolution? what refresh rate?

Resolution is 2560x1080, but my amp is showing that when I press display and allows me to duplicate the image to 2560x1080 if I run PC through DVI. Refresh rate is 60hz.
