OPENBOX concern with asus rog laptop

I bought an openbox asus rog laptop at newegg but there's a battery problem. It wont charge at all. Can this still be replaced

They'll still provide a retailers warranty - although much less than if bought 'new'. I think it's ~30 days?

I assume this issue came to light very quickly? You should be well within their warranty period.
