In Windows file explorer, right click on the drive and select Eject. If the system isn't running, there's almost certainly a small hole in the face of the drawer. Use a needle gently to poke inside that hole and the drawer should spring open.

I've just come back to say all the above only applies if your model has one. If the button Mousemonkey highlights isn't there, the device was optional and you didn't select it.
