Opinions on this laptop? Lenovo IdeaPad Z585.

This is the cheapest quad-core laptop I could find and also has fairly good graphics.

Do you think it could play Battlefield 3 at low settings? Probably will be replacing the hard drive with an SSD, thanks.

Do you think it would be worth spending an extra 100 quid for the better version? Would there be a significant performance difference? The only difference in the spec is an A10 CPU instead of an A8 and a 7670M instead of a 7640G.

The MORE you pay for a Lappy the better gaming you get...it would improve BF3 as an example....and other games are easier than BF3...

500 quid is probably the max I want to spend, so would you recommend, buying the cheaper version and replacing the hard drive with an SSD or buying the higher end version and not buy the SSD?

The higher end one... SSD only makes a difference to starting and level load times in games, not much else.... and you can always add one in the future...
