Opinions on this laptop spec

Hi All,

Just looking for some opinions on this laptop spec:

I'm looking for it to handling some gaming over the next few years (although I'm only really hoping for medium graphics settings), as well as being used for university work

It should do what u want it for. Maybe high-ultra settings aswell, due to lack of resolution (1366x768).

Check out some game benchmarks in the following link for the GT 745m. That should give you a general idea. Keep in mind that the actual laptop(s) which attained those benchmarks is not provided, therefore it is very possible that many of the benchmarks could be with a quad core mobile Core i7 CPU.

Thank you both for your answers. I know the spec is a little low, but as it's what I have on my current machine, I'm hoping I won't notice the difference.

The benchmarks were really useful, thank you. I'm not too bothered about the higher settings, so as long as they'll run I'll be happy!
