Optical out to Aux input

Hi,
I need to connect the optical out of my TV to my home theatre. Is there any way to connect the optical out of the tv to the aux in of the hometheatre.

I'm pretty sure there isn't a single cable as the optical out works with light rather than electricity as it uses fibre optic cables (i might be wrong but I think that's how it works). The only way i can think is if you purchase a converter for optical to rca then buy a rca to 3.5mm cable.
