how to on the optimus power in Toshiba windows 7 laptops? (this is not connected with gaming)

Right click on the game icon -> Run with graphics processor ->High performance NVidia processor

From NVidia Control Panel , 3D Setting ->Manage 3D settings -> Tab Global Settings ->Preferred graphics processor : Auto select .

This will make Optimus to select which application to run on Intel HD Graphics and which on Geforce GPU . So it will save power . You may set it to Integrated graphics but then games wont run on the faster Geforce
