OS install on Acer AO751h

We dropped the laptop while it was running. Got message "OS not found". Changed Hard drive. Still getting message... wont let me install new OS. (windows 7 32 bit)

It sounds like you haven't selected the correct boot device (USB or DVD as appropriate) so the laptop is still looking for an OS on the hard drive which of course is empty.

First of all... Thank You for the help Phillip. It seems to have gotten me further along. Now it says "No bootable partition in table".

Do you at least get to where windows starts the install from your boot media?

No, replaced the HD because of OS not found. Changed where it booted from (thumb drive) now I dont get OS not found....I get "no bootable partition in table" "media test failure, check cable" Black screen with OS on thumb drive plugged in USB

The laptop is still not booting from the drive which contains the installation media.
You seem to have set it to boot from the network now, that's why it says "PXE-E61 Media Test failure".

You must make the laptop boot from the DVD drive (if installing Windows from a DVD) otherwise you'll get nowhere fast.
