how do a change OS on a Acer 5740G notebook from XP to Windows 7

Purchase a Windows 7 OS Disk from a store.

Put the disk in.

You can buy an update but clean full install is the best. Don't even think about getting cracked OS because they all come with "doors open" So unless you cool with that go ahead and try your luck.

If you install windows 7. It will be windows 7. Unless you setup dual boot or something. How did you install windows 7?
