Password help please

I got a used lap top from a rent a center and it has another user on there...how do i bypass this??

You don't. You take it back to them and get the password or get one that you can log into from that center. As stated above, this is not a tech forum to ask questions about bypassing security on computers and laptops like passwords. Expect this question to be locked after a Moderator sees it.
