Solved! Pavilion n5270 cooling fan

Hello,
My fan only turns on after the intial startup, and stays on for only about 5 seconds before it stop.

So, I assume that you cannot feel any air from the main vent? Has the laptop been running hot and for example, shutting down randomly? Keep in mind that mobile CPU fans are a bit load at start up and then basically go quiet until you do something quite taxing.
