Solved! Pc adjustment for tv display

Hello,
I have a SVGA cable between my pc and hdtv. The tv screen is black. Is there some setting I need to adjust? The hdtv is set on pc. Am I missing something on my pc that needs to be done?

Make sure the resolution set for the TV Display on the PC matches the native resolution on the HDTV. In my case (with an Olevia 32" 1366x768) I had to actually lower the resolution to 1280x768 before I could see an image.
