PC only recognized one HDTV through HDMI splitter

I have the HDMI output of my PC connected to the input of an HDMI splitter. I have one HD TV connected to each of the outputs of the HDMI splitter. I get video on both TVs fine, but audio is only sent to one of the TVs (presumably the first one "recognized" by the PC and displayed as an "audio device"). Does anyone know how to get audio to both TVs? Why would the splitter break the audio signal up but not the video? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

Which exact splitter do you have? I'm wondering if it has something to do with a bad splitter or maybe protected content.

Solution

I got this one on amazon: PORTTA 2 Port 1x2 Hdmi Splitter V 1.3b

I'm not sure what happened or if it was operator error at first, but it seems to be working now. Thanks for the interest in helping out though!
