So I just realized I accidentally ordered the 13inch non 360 (2in1) hp envy...

https://store.hp.com/CanadaStore/Merch/Product.aspx?id=4LX74UA&opt=ABL&sel=NTB

Instead of this 15 inch 360...

https://store.hp.com/CanadaStore/Merch/Product.aspx?id=4BQ06UA&opt=ABL&sel=NTB

After checking the specs on both, they seem pretty much the same though besides obvious differences in design and size, and that the 360 uses ddr4 and the other one uses lpddr3.

Is there any reason NOT to send it back in exchange for the larger 15inch 360 model, which is the same price.

Speed, battery life, ram differences (lpddr3 vs ddr4).. anything ? I’m just wondering why the 13 inch non-360 is priced the same as the 15inch 360.

Thanks.

I’m listening... i prefer the 13 inch’s design actually, and it’s the one that’s already being delivered. I thought that most likely if it had less of the perks that most people like (like the 2 in 1 and touchscreen and yadayada) and a smaller screen, that there was some payoff as far as performance or battery life or something.

That being said, i’ve never tried a 2 in 1 or touchscreen, and i believe you that it’s probably really useful.

My x360 was my first with the form factor. I use the tent mode to watch TV/video on my left desk (main PC on my right desk as I'm surrounded by desks). I use tablet mode to read or vertical at the piano, putting it right on the sheet music holder instead of sheet music.

And it's a very niche benefit, but in tent mode, the cat can't walk on the keyboard to anger me. I haven't found any consequence to battery life; battery life is almost always going to be determined by the config.
