PDFs not displaying properly on laptop

I'm not sure why, but PDFs, particularly big PDFs with a lot of images, don't display properly on my laptop a lot of the time. I'll be scrolling through a game guide and instead of everything appearing, I just get white blocks. I have to refresh the page or zoom in or out and back again just to correct it. What could this be related to? It's never an issue on my desktop.

I'm on Windows 10 Home 64-bit
8GB RAM
i5 6300HQ 2.30GHz
GTX 950m

It is very common with graphic intensive and/or large PDF files.

Adobe is turning out to be one of the bloatware. Is right there on top of all my apps in term of ram space, and it's suppose to be *just* a reader. On my Mac, I use the default PREVIEW app, that reads PDF just fine for me, at gazelle's speed.

Does Windows 10 even have a default PDF reader? I'm not even sure... Will have to uninstall Adobe and check.
