Pegatron sounds like a Transformer. The mini-iPad is actually surprising to me. Sure, rumors of it have been around since the original iPad launch, but I never thought they'd actually do it.

I already got a 10" tablet at home(sharing it with my gf), my next tablet will be 7"(much more portable).

A mini iPad will simply cannibalize the larger iPad sales. Apple doesn't really it, since people are willing to pay the Apple tax anyway.

I don't really see the attraction of an iPad mini. If the current iPad it just too-too big than get an iPod Touch. Well, I guess there's a market for something inbetween

Nope, it's an ASRock.....

Maybe the "new ipad" is simply an ipad 3 with Samsungs now tested and proven 32nm HK+MG process for the A5X. More LTE compatibility would be likely as well, and possibly LTE for Sprint since their network should be up in a few cities by that time.
