The ideas PETA promotes are 100% pagan. The idea that animal have 'human' rights is beyond ridiculous. By that assertion they say we don't have the "right" to eat meat.
This is what they believe in many eastern religions like Hinduism. Cows are walking the streets of Calcutta while children are starving to death. The faithful are smearing themselves with cow dung because a cow is sacred. This is 100% apposed to western thought chiefly influenced by Christianity. That is GOD made you and is very fond of you. He put YOU over animals and intends for YOU to kill and eat them. THE BIG LIE is that meat is BAD for you. Statics show that vegetarianism leads to MORE LONG TERM HEALTH PROBLEMS than those who eat a diet that includes meat.
