[citation][nom]TheAnswerMan[/nom]The ideas PETA promotes are 100% pagan. The idea that animal have 'human' rights is beyond ridiculous. By that assertion they say we don't have the "right" to eat meat. This is what they believe in many eastern religions like Hinduism. Cows are walking the streets of Calcutta while children are starving to death. The faithful are smearing themselves with cow dung because a cow is sacred. This is 100% apposed to western thought chiefly influenced by Christianity. That is GOD made you and is very fond of you. He put YOU over animals and intends for YOU to kill and eat them. THE BIG LIE is that meat is BAD for you. Statics show that vegetarianism leads to MORE LONG TERM HEALTH PROBLEMS than those who eat a diet that includes meat.[/citation]
Try not to make comments on something you don't understand? If you'd know the history of our country, you'd realise that our culture is as ancient Greece, Rome, Babylon and Egypt, and so is our religion. And we were very, very prosperous even when Christianity didn't even exist (and even after that, through Europe's Dark Ages). Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism and Hinduism all originated from India, keep that in mind too. As a result, we're usually very tolerant of all religions. I'm tolerating you as well. I could go on (on this) but this isn't the place.
Cow dung is used as fuel in most rural areas, don't know where that comment about people smearing themselves came from.
As for children starving, yes they do go hungry in many places, but it's got nothing to do with the cows. Cows drive an entire damn industry (consequently preventing the children of their owners from going hungry, and the children who get to drink milk don't go hungry either), just that they're not eaten/killed. No one's stopping you from doing that in your country.
Please. Have sense. You're supposed to be in a "first-world country" and are considered to be a member of a "developed" population. Stop posting like an ass, I expect more from you.
