Phenom II X2 560 Chances of Unlock

Hi guys :) time to ask the geniuses here..friends i m a very tight budget & want to upgrade my CPU & mobo so i m planning to buy a Phenom II 560 BE & pair it with Asus M4A88T-M mobo,so what u think what are the chances of it to get unlocked???

Some people say 60% of CPUs unlock, some say 30%, I think it is really closer to 30%. You have a decent chance, but it can cause instability so a clear CMOS button would be nice incase you cannot boot back into the BIOS to change it back. Also, you may have clear CMOS pins. I would suggest the PII X2 555 because it has C3 stepping instead of C2.

Possibley but unlocking cores can fail, there is a reson they locked it. It can overheat, get destroyed or malfunction in any sort
of way or it might work. If your motherboard supports it i dont see why not.
