Philips soundbar subwoofer no sound

Hi, I have a Philips Hts8140 Soundbar with subwoofer. Connected fine to TV and fetch TV box, but 2 questions:
1 - can I also connect the foxtel box, atm the fetch box is connected via optical toslink to the subwoofer, and there's just one optical input on sub.
2 - subwoofer has no sound coming out?

For no audio to sub, has it ever worked? If not, you may have just connected it wrong. If you have it right, contact Philips support.

For connections to another box, if you don't have any free inputs, no you can't. Why not connect things to the TV and use the TV audio output to the Philips systems.

Thank you, it now appear to be working, and I got a toslink switch which has enabled me to have everything connected, hurrah!
