phone password forgot

I have a basic model Samsung phone. forgot the password, now . can't open my phone, I have only two option password and sos call please help me

Phone and tablet theft is rife and passwords are there to protect data if the phone falls into the wrong hands.

You can reset the device back to factory settings but you will lose any data you had stored in there. Turn the phone on by pressing the power button and the volume up button at the same time and keep them pressed in until an option menu shows up that includes Factory Reset or something like it.
