Phone will not ring/no sounds at all

It works fine, but just suddently stopped ringing for incoming calls; it still vibrates but with no sound>???

Hello buddy!
Did you drop the phone somewhere or something ? Try to manage the phone profiles ( silent/discret/normal and etc.). Is the music plays normal ? Use your headset and call someone... is it works?

If nothing from above works try to factory reset the phone (the problem may be software):
1) Save your needed information (photos/videos/music and etc) on your computer.
2) Factory restart the phone with everything clear!
If the sound is still off get this phone to service.

I can call others, i can hear, I can listen music, video etc only no sound in coming ring tone

My new iphone 8 stopped making all sounds a few days ago. I finally sat down to investigate. Took awhile to figure out an easy answer. On the side of the phone where the volume buttons are there is a very small grey tab at the top. To the left ringer OFF. To the RIGHT ringer on,. I was fooling around with these and must have inadvertently click to off. My old iphone 6 has the same setup. Hope this helps someone.
